East Wanneroo Primary School is an established school located in the northern suburbs of Perth. Nestled amongst gum trees and extensive, native flora, the school provides a beautiful, natural setting for local families, it has a country feel in a city setting. Being an older style school, our grounds are spacious with dedicated play areas for each year level. The space carries through to the classrooms, where most classes have an additional room for students to spread out. We pride ourselves on being a family orientated school and with around 380 students, our staff get to know every child and their family.
Our school provides a range of educational opportunities and experiences for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school has adopted the Department of Education’s mantra, “Every Student, Every Classroom, Every Day” to focus upon high quality education. It is our belief that it is the quality of the teaching and learning programs along with positive relationships, that has the greatest impact upon student performance.
The staff actively promote a culture that strives to maintain positive and respectful relationships with students, parents and the wider community. Programs delivered are aimed at promoting student well-being and the core learning values of the ‘You Can Do It’ program. Confidence, Organisation, Getting Along, Persistence and Resilience are evident in the teaching and learning programs throughout the school.
We aim to work together to provide an inclusive, caring and happy learning environment where students feel safe and encouraged to achieve their personal best.
